The world was made colorful once again, thanks to the new iPod Nano, which was released on September 2008. From that point on the streets, the markets, the buses and even the offices were flooded with 9 delicious colors, starting from silver and ending with a dashing pink. So no matter your mood or your dress there is now an iPod to match it.
Who said that you can't be both smart and beautiful? The new iPod is more than colorful, is also a genius; I am referring here about the genius feature that can find in your music library the songs that match your style, that is, the style of the past songs that you have listened over and over again. So you can have an entire Genius playlist with all your favorite songs.
Another great feature brought about by the new iPod is the "Cover Flow", which can help you find your favorite songs even faster. All you have to do is to browse by album or artist with the help of the Center button. Once you have found your wished song press the Center button and you'll have the song into your on - the - go playlist.
In case you want to shuffle your playlist the new "shake option" will help you through. Just shake, shake your iPod and you'll skip to the next track. If you want to know how such a feature is possible, the answer is that the new iPod Nano has a built in accelerometer. This new toll was put to even a better use with the game Maze; this game allows you to tilt and move the iPod in order to find your way in the maze.
Although the new gadget has a slimmer appearance with its 90.7 x 38.8 x 6.2 mm, has succeeded to incorporate a 2 inch liquid crystal display, on which you can see your photos both in portrait and landscape mode.
For such a small gadget, the iPod also offers a memory capacity of 8 or 16 GB and a playback time of almost 24 h for songs listening. These features and a little bit more make the new iPod Nano Chromatic a good deal, at a good price starting with 150$.
